Sheila Hu - Financial Controller and Company Secretary

Sheila Hu is responsible for financial and management accounting, treasury, tax, HR compliance and general administration support on behalf of the Appen group.

Prior to joining Appen, Sheila had seven years experience in accounting positions in New Zealand and Australia. Within Appen, Sheila has played a lead role in the establishment of Appen's current financial and HR systems. She coordinates all Appen processes and activities in support of audits by Appen's external audit firm and for contractual audits by the US Defense Contracts Audit Agency.

Sheila is a CPA (registered in 2003) and holds a Masters of Accounting degree from Macquarie University (2003). She completed an Executive MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management.
