Jacques-Samuel Prolon - Senior Vice President, Operations

Jacques-Samuel Prolon is responsible for managing Appen's global operations, including processes, quality, service delivery and client support. He leads a team of experienced linguists and project managers responsible for Appen customer projects in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australasia. He has successfully completed many complex programs for large commercial and government customers, often with accelerated timescales.

Jacques-Samuel undertakes extensive client liaison and actively supports Appen's business development team. Jacques-Samuel previously worked in Belgium for BASE (a mobile GSM operator) as a project leader and for Altran Europe (a technology consultancy firm) where he worked on telecommunications, multimedia and software engineering projects for European clients. He has also worked as a software developer for the Laurence Berkeley National Laboratory in California, USA.

Jacques-Samuel has a Masters equivalent in telecommunications engineering from the Institut National des Telecommunications in Evry (France), a postgraduate degree in medical imaging from the Université Paris XII and completed an Executive MBA with the Australian Graduate School of Management.
