Speech Recordings by Native Australian English Speakers
Appen is recruiting native Australian English speakers to participate in studio speech recordings used for developing and improving voice recognition. Speakers are paid $40 for one recording session conducted either at our studios near Central Station or at our offices in Chatswood. Speakers will be reading words, phrases and some sentences from a screen. The recording takes approximately one hour.
Speaker requirements:
- Must be born and raised in Australia
- Ages 8-13 or 31-60
- Able to read clearly
Parents are encouraged to bring along their children for a recording and receive an additional $10 (for a total of $90 for both parent and one child). Please make a booking for both yourself and your child.
Recording sessions take place on weekdays Mon-Fri between 8:30 - 17.30.
