Appen requires require a number of people to translate and transcribe Dari and/or Pashto language data.

Requirements

• Fluent in Dari and/or Pashto
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
• Must have permission to work in Australia
• Some linguistic knowledge would be advantageous

Other Information

• Must be able to work 2 to 5 days per week (excluding weekends)
• Location - Chatswood (close to public transport)

Casual work opportunities exist for native speakers of Lithuanian. Selected candidates will carry out proofing-reading and grammar checks on Lithuanian sentences.

Requirements

• Native speaker of Lithuanian
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
• Must have permission to work in Australia
• Some linguistic knowledge or proof-reading/editing experience would be advantageous

Details

• Must be able to work 2 to 5 days per week (excluding weekends)
• Work will involve proof-reading and correcting Lithuanian sentences 
  
• Work to commence in June - positions available until filled
• Chatswood location (close to station)

Casual work opportunities exist for native speakers of Oriya. Selected candidates will conduct basic language research, edit text in Oriya, and transcribe Oriya speech.

Requirements

• Native speaker of Oriya
• Basic computer knowledge and typing skills
• Must have permission to work in Australia
• Some linguistic knowledge would be advantageous

Details

• Must be able to work 2 to 5 days per week (excluding weekends)
• Transcribers will be listening to and transcribing recorded speech
